Job Summary:
Responsible for customer value proposition design with new initiatives, usage campaigns as per payment trend analysis, Alliances portfolio management to drive business growth & meet business targets.
Formulation of strategy for product development – plan, propose, develop, launch, monitor and review strategy to maximize overall profitability of the business.
Job Requirements:
Product Development
The incumbent is responsible for both product planning and product marketing.
This includes managing the product throughout the Product Lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision.
Conduct regular review of market & competitor activities to identify opportunities, initiate product ideas and tailor benefits and features for each target segment.
Card business core KPI improvements (Fee revenue & Interchange income).
To prospect and propose new avenues for product development
Lead “First to Market” advantage in all profitable products suitable to target segments.
Campaign Management
To develop and manage advertising & promotional campaign & activities in order to enhance the Brand awareness & brand loyalty
To finalize overall marketing campaign starting from concept to actual execution of the campaign
Cards product enhancement and usage campaigns driven by analysis for spend & visibility.
Alliances Management
Manage and build on alliances/ partnership portfolio and sustainable growth in chosen market categories
Execute & manage campaigns with merchants for UBL Credit, Debit/Prepaid Cards Portfolio.
Ensure timely payments of regular long-term alliances and short-term tactical campaigns.
Manage coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Negotiate, design and execute partnerships for cards value proposition enhancement.
Business Planning & Development
Maintain up-to-date understanding of competitive trends and market needs and identify market conditions to apply proper measures to maximize the advantage and/or minimize the risk on any situation
To plan and execute strategies for better portfolio performance of both businesses
To ensure smooth running of business through Product Managers.
To manage Card business core KPI improvements (Fee revenue & Interchange income).
Budgetary Control
To review, monitor costs and expenses and highlight if any expenses are above budget
To ensure all cross-functional expenses are approved by business and they are complying with the approved budget.
To review MIS’s/report for monitoring purpose
Relationship Management
To develop a solution set across cross functional teams by involving the respective function through market requirements and product positioning.
Work closely with Finance, operations, Marketing, Distributions Channels to ensure optimum product penetration & partnership portfolio sustainability.
Conduct regular training for Sales, Service and Quality, Marketing Services and branches on new products, campaigns and partnerships.
Work with MasterCard/VISA and other network partners for product development and enhanced value propositions.
Strive to achieve best in class product and services from third parties for Bank interest
Experience & Qualification:
Minimum 8 years’ relevant experience
Bachelors or Masters/MBA
Skills Required:
Strong product & relationship management capability with proven track record
Experience in managing multi-faceted/stakeholder projects.
Experience in managing and growing products, having worked in large local or international organizations.
Integrity, Honesty & Good leadership skills

Strong analytical skills
